HOUSE RULES

Check-In / Check-Out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.

Check-In: 3:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM



Pets

We are a pet friendly establishment. Pets are limited to dogs only. There will be no more than 3 dogs per room. The pet fee is $20 per night per dog. Please keep your dog off the furniture. If your dog needs a blanket or bed to sleep on then please bring one. Please keep your dog under control at all times. Please pick up after your dog. Under no circumstances can your dog be left in the room unattended.

Rooms

The rooms are set up the way they are for a reason. Please do not rearrange the furniture. You will be responsible for any damage caused by moving the furniture. Please wash all your dishes and cups and leave them in the strainer by the sink. Please do not wash or clean anything that you brought from the beach in our sinks including razor clams, fish, crab, driftwood or shells.. The septic systems here at the beach are very fragile and can not tolerate the debris caused by cleaning these things. Please do not put any paper products, personal wipes, or tampons in the toilets. Only use the paper that is provided to you by the property.



Room Cleaning Policy

Room refreshes will not be offered during stays. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please contact the office.



Fire pits and BBQ’s

Typically, there are a couple of BBQ’s on the property that are available to the guests on a first come first served basis. They are charcoal grills. We do not supply the charcoal or lighter fluid. We also have several fire pits available for the guests. They are typically in a group like setting.Please keep the fires within the designated fire pits and under control at all times. Please fully extinguish the fire when you retire for the evening.



Clam Kitchen 

We have a clam kitchen or clam cleaning station for cleaning you razor clams and anything else you would like to clean that came from the beach. The clam guts and shells, crab shells, and by product of fish cleaning all go in one of the buckets under the sink and are then recycled back to the beach. Please do not put them in the garbage or dumpster.



Minimum Age Policy

All guests must be 21 years or older to confirm guest room accommodations at The Lowtide Motel. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of check in for age verification.



Parking Policy

Vacations should be stress-free and for that reason, you get to park right in front of your room (or super close). By parking a vehicle at our facility, you (and your guests) are doing so on your own accord. The hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.



Smoking Policy


Breathe easy. The Lowtide Motel has a strict non-smoking in the rooms policy. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $500 room cleaning fee. 



Liability Waiver

 By continuing with this reservation guest(s) acknowledges the inherent risk of staying at an Oceanfront property. Guests hereby agree to take full responsibility for their own safety while on Property grounds and inside their accommodations. Guest(s) assume all associated risks with use of the Property including but not limited to the accommodations, facilities, amenities, or property grounds. In doing so, Guest(s) hereby waives, releases, and discharges and shall indemnify and hold harmless The Lowtide Motel LLC, The Lowtide Motel, its officers, owners, their heirs and employees from all liabilities claims, actions, damages, costs, and/or expenses which may arise out of or in any way the Guest(s) use of the Resort accommodations, facilities, amenities, or property grounds. Guest(s) understand and acknowledges that the waiver includes claims based on negligence and/or the actions or in actions of The Lowtide Motel LLC and/or The Lowtide Motel.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please read our cancellation policy carefully, as it is not common for us to make an exception for it. In order to avoid any misunderstandings, we would appreciate you paying attention to the following:


  • All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card at time of booking, or the reservation will automatically be released. All final reservation pricing shall include the appropriate state and local taxes as well as a 3% credit card convenience fee if you are paying with a card. All cancellations and changes must be received at least 48 hours prior to 3:00 pm PST check in time on the day of expected arrival, or a penalty equal to one night's room rate plus tax will apply. The same penalty applies to no-shows.


For reasons of the COVID-19 pandemic, if the guest cancels with less than 8 days, the beds will be opened for sale, and in case the beds are sold, the guest can use their advance payment for a future reservation within the next 12 months. You must attach a positive test.
